Each bottle of wine is a book to be carefully read. We should know the author of the book, the setting, as well as when it was written. From each bottle, we learn a different story, and each story leads back to a certain territory, to specific grape varieties and to the culture of the men and women who produced it. Before evaluating a wine, or when we meet a new person, we should have some information about the bottle we are about to taste. We should let knowledge prevail over dry judgment.
